Hull Weight BEFORE TRIMMING TO SIZE(will be losing a good inch of material all the way around)

I tried to find the weight of my hand laid hull, but I cant.....The fabric was 2 layers of 5.6oz 2x2 twill weave...So maybe you can compare to your boats weight(if you used 2 layers of twill weave than you should be able to get a pretty close guess) I must say though, the hull feels substantially lighter...

Mast weight was 248g cut to size with nothing on it..
I know you said shoot for under 170g... I will try again with my new vacuum pump and see what I save in weight.
However this mast has virtually no flex which has helped a lot with my sail holding its shape in strong winds.

yes, the rigidity is important but, the mast weight too. So, normal little 1cm or 1.5cm flexion is normal, so you can decrease rigidity and weight up to 120-150 grams.

Deck under Full Vac, Guage is Pinned at 30inHg....Never achieved this high a vacuum until I got Jamestowns Yellow seam tape.
