preparing for master lamination for an Hull

Today start the glass - fabric -epoxy lamination.
after review , the sequence will be : 105g/m² glass- 112g/m² cotton - 2 times 50g/m² glass. I'm expecting an heavy hull !!!

The experiment of mixing the cotton cloth is interesting, no furter paints or decoration needed.
The hull appears to be very strong, suggesting lover glass sampling for reduction of hull weight.
The cotton weight was remeasured and found to be 120g/m² instead of 112g/m²

Continuing the fine wet paper sanding
After sanding in dry condition it does not look nice !! but ...
once wet the look change !
A trial with brushed polyurethane paint, look the difference with the part not painted
The real paint finish will a dual components epoxy applied with a air spray gun.

Someone suggested me that it is possible to use decoration drawings made on rice paper. Japanese tecnique
The paper under the resin will become transparent leaving only the draving apparent. This tecnique seems to be employed by Surf manufacturer for decoration.
Here a classical rice paper painted , just for a Good Easter to all suffering from earhquake in Aquila :
